THE HISTORY
Born in the USA in 20th century, Hamilton was able to win its market share immediately, turning his business to many American train companies. Thanks to the accuracy of its watches, Hamilton contributed to the reduction of accidents on the train convoys, but the real boom was in military supplies in the World War II, when the Lancaster’s home produced over a million specimens for the soldiers engaged on the fronts.

Postwar, some models with a very original design have contributed to declare their definitive success: the famous Ventura, still produced today in many specimens, with his unmistakable line it was the first electric watch in the world. Ventura gave the brand a cinematic success, it was different times worn by Elvis Presley in his movie. It was followed by two other models, expressly made on the occasion of Stanley Kubrick's 2001 “Space Odyssey”: a wristwatch and a table watch with a futuristic style appear in many scenes of the movie.
